Scope of Work and Target
At the Heart of a Woman is an independent, non-profitable non-governmental organization. It’s mainly concerned with implementing non-profitable social work rooted in uplifting the living conditions of women and girls. We focus on providing opportunities and involvement of the women and girls through community engagement and provision of vocational courses.

We advocate for equal rights and opportunities for women and girls. The women are empowered through several programs put in place by the organization. This is aimed at ensuring that they’re given the conducive environment for their development and growth both physically, emotionally and financially. Community outreach programs are initiated to ensure a larger number of women and girls are reached.
Geographical Coverage
At The Heart of a Woman is registered in Nairobi and has been approved to conduct their programs and projects across five counties of Kenya. We intend to implement different activities to support women and girls in the country. The direct implementation of this organization is program-based activity, women and youth professional capacity building and to empower them.
ATHOW has established a network of individuals well rooted in their societies in different counties in the country. For successful implementation of their programs and projects, ATHOW has the capacity to engage and mobilize individuals as well as the organizational networks to implement the programs.
